A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The PCH Foundation presents the annual Harry T. Holman award to a volunteer or volunteer group who has made a significant contribution to Prince County Hospital and the people it serves. In 2017, we were pleased to recognize the efforts of both a volunteer and a volunteer group for this award – the Summerside Lions Club and their member Andrew Gallant.
The Summerside Lions Club has been a friend to the Prince County Hospital now for many years. Not only do they give financially each year to support the purchase of medical equipment, their members have come forward many times to help out with ongoing fundraising efforts and special events of the Foundation.
Through the organization of Andrew Gallant, there has been a team of Summerside Lions Club members and spouses each year for the past 9 years on hand to help set up and to serve over 1,300 people. No job is ever too much and they are there from the beginning to the end, with a helping hand and a Happy to Help attitude.
The PCH Foundation has awarded the Harry T. Holman award now for 33 years to some wonderful people and dedicated groups. If you know of a person or group that has made a great impact at PCH, please nominate them for the Harry T. Holman award using the form at this link 2018holm
