Holiday Fundraiser from Jewellery Plus

A beautiful gift becomes even more beautiful when it helps someone in need. Jewellery Plus is pleased to announce that, this holiday season, each purchase of select Sarah’s Hope® Jewelry designs will give back to our local Prince County Hospital Foundation. Sarah’s Hope Jewelry is a socially responsible jewelry line that helps provide microloans and small business training to women in impoverished situations throughout the world.

“Through their purchases of Sarah’s Hope Jewelry, our customers have participated in the efforts to help lift up hundreds of women through small business ownership,” says store owner Philip Sullivan. “Now we’re thrilled to also help locally by giving back to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.”

For this holiday-themed Giving Back Locally fundraiser from Nov 1- Dec-31, customers will be able to choose from a selection of earrings, bracelets and pendants. Prices start at $99 and designs feature .925 sterling silver and colorful, dynamic proprietary E’Sperene® stones. Jewellery Plus will donate 20% of each purchase from this collection to assist the The Prince County Hospital Foundation with their list of current medical equipment needs

Jewelers Mutual® Insurance Company, in Support of the Giving Back Locally program, will be contributing an additional $1000 to the winning jeweler’s local charity of choice.   The award is given to the jeweler who makes the largest charitable contribution to a local charity based on the sales of Sarah’s Hope Jewelry during the holiday season.

According to Sullivan, “We  know there are many needs in our county, and are excited that our customers will help purchase gifts that not only LOOK good but help DO good for the many Island residents who are impacted every day by our wonderful Prince County Hospital.”

Heather Matheson, Prince County Hospital Foundation managing director adds, “The PCH Foundation truly appreciates the consideration and effort of local business, such as Jewellery Plus, and the support of our communities, in general.  Our hospital serves many thousands of patients each year and every dollar counts as we face significant and growing medical equipment needs.”
